For almost 30 years, CPI has supplied OEMs in the aerial lift industry with fiberglass buckets,
and more recently with rotationally molded polyethylene units.
In fact, CPI is currently supplying these products to some of largest manufacturers in the world.
In addition to OEMs, our products are also available to dealers, distributers and end users.
QUALITY PRODUCTS
CPI uses only neat resins. We never use lower cost filled resins that might sacrifice the strength
of our product. Our Resin Transfer Molding process allows us
to use sheets of continuous strand fiberglass mat instead of chopped fiberglass. In addition, we use a
variety of stronger woven glasses at points where greater strength is needed. The end result according
to an independent testing lab, is that our product is 30-40% stronger than the traditional chopped
fiberglass bucket. This independent lab has dead load tested our bucket with loads of 6,000 pounds
without structural damage.
The RTM closed-mold process ensures added strength and durability by
guaranteeing consistent glass-to-resin ratio and higher glass content. CPI's basic unit with mounting
ribs is molded in one operation, so there's no concern about secondary bonding of the mounting ribs.
That's an important benefit, because with the hand-layed or chopped buckets, which use a secondary
attachment process, there's always a concern about the strength of the secondary bond. CPI's process not only
produces safer equipment, it also yields an
extremely durable UV-resistant and easily cleaned surface on both the inside and outside of the
product. Our buckets are not just safer, they look better and lasts longer.
Without a doubt, safety is the most important
factor in choosing an aerial lift bucket. No matter what the job, people shouldn't risk their lives
each time they climb into a bucket. They need to be confident that their bucket is the best piece of
equipment on the market.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR ORDER
Each CPI aerial lift is made to order. You choose the location of each feature. You may add tool
pouches, heater pouches, steps, mounting ribs, and select the entry configuration. You get the features you want,
where you want them.
SERVICE
Our production technique allows us to manufacture ribbed, plain and splicer
buckets and place them in our inventory until you place your order. We then add the appropriate
valve mount; place the step in the appropriate location; and add a tool pouch or heater pouch as
required. CPI strives to deliver the products you need as quickly as possible. To accomodate emergent
needs, orders can usually be expedited to ship within 24-48 hours for a nominal fee.
